We finally got to attend the party this year for the first time and we had a BLAST! I hope we can make it each year now, I will certainly try. Little did I know that 2 weeks after the party I would be in the hospital for emergency surgery, but I am feeling better than I have in years and I'm even losing weight. The doctor said I nearly died, but I am blessed to still be here. We just got back from seeing Charlie in Cherokee, NC tonight and as usual he rocked the house! God bless you Charlie Daniels!
