Islamic apologists (defenders of Islam's image and teachings, both Muslim and non-Muslim) will often claim that nothing of the sort is taught by Islam. The claim that Islam is "a religion of peace and tolerance" was an easy sell to the civilized world when the 9-11 attacks happened, because your average American is not a serious student of "religion". Even many Christians assumed Islam was peaceful and tolerant, even though they knew it to be contrary to Christianity and considered it a false religion.

But that basic lie of Islam's peaceful and tolerant co-existence with other faiths, or compatibility with them, is not so easy to sell now, given the vast amount of exposure by people like Robert Spencer, Serge Trifkovic, Wahlid Shoebat, and a host of other serious investigators, scholars, theologians, historians, etc., in the past 11 years.

Yet some will say, "surely authoritative and official Islamic teaching does not condone this morbid, monstrous, obviously demonic practice of necrophilia?"

Ahhhh, there's the question indeed.
The answer is that, yes, official Islamic teaching references this mind-blowingly perverse practice. Muhammad himself did it, and one of the passages in the Hadith (an official Islamic source second only to the Qur'an in authority for Muslims) records it.

See the following article:

Oh, and don't forget that according to Allah himself (speaking through Muhammad, of course) Muhammad is the most "beautiful pattern of conduct" and "example" for mankind to follow! (Qur'an 33:21), as well as the "exalted standard of character" (Qur'an 68:4).

Necrophilia.
A horrific evil if ever I've heard of one.
But having watched modern-day videos of these monsters beheading their victims, just as the Qur'an and the examples of Muhammad as recorded in the Hadith teach them to do, I am not surprised that this is also among the horrors of an ideology that can only have its source in the most depraved of human hearts, and is doubtless also inspired by demonic spirits.
